To say I was excited to photograph Laura and Andy’s Yarramalong Hillview wedding would be a bit of an understatement. You know when you meet people and you just get that feeling that they’re cool, they know what they want, they’re chilled about it and it’ll just happen… Well, that’s what I felt with these guys.
Your wedding day is one of the biggest days in your life, and making the conscious decision to do it your way is a liberating one, one that will provide you joy and one that gives you the opportunity to make it completely unique, from the moment you wake to the moment you fall asleep.
What I loved most about this wedding was the relaxed vibe. The first time I met Rebecca, the bride, she told me that one of the main reasons they had chosen Pacific Palms as the location for their wedding was because they didn’t have a curfew to finish up the reception. They were able to dance around and party until whatever time they pleased.
I’m Chris, a wedding and elopement photographer and proud LGBTQI+ ally, based on the Central Coast NSW. I photograph couples from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures in Sydney, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, and worldwide. Here at Underatreehouse you are loved and accepted for who you are and I can’t wait to capture your day.
