A few years ago, my wife and I packed up everything we had (including 3 kids and their grandparents), closed our business and moved from the city, searching for a new life by the beach. After a few months of exploring we arrived on the Central Coast and haven’t looked back.
Travel is my biggest passion. Immersing myself in different cultures, soaking up experiences and meeting new people is what fuels my curiosity and creativity.
Having grown up in the UK, I now love the life I have created in Australia. I live on the NSW Central Coast with my wife and kids.

Underatreehouse is about hitting the open road, following your dreams and embracing the wonderfully diverse world we live in.
I met my wife, Chantelle, in Sydney. I was on a round-the-world trip, stopping to earn some cash along the way. She was the manager of a restaurant and co-ordinator of weddings. Long story short, I came looking for a job and thankfully, got a whole lot more!
Through feisty debates and our mutual love of style, our romance blossomed. We’d hang out at a cafe in Sydney, sat below a huge old tree. To us, it felt like we were sitting in a treehouse, miles from anywhere.
So what is Underatreehouse??
'The Decisive Moment' is a phrase coined by legendary photographer, Henri Carter-Bresson.
Henri’s work was about finding moments, composing them perfectly and then waiting to capture the split second when everything lined up and the story came to life.
I have always aspired to achieve the same goal.
It is the reason I keep taking photographs and the reason I’ll probably never be able to stop, the search for the perfect moment, the capture that says everything.
I'm a pretty laid back guy but I love a great party and I love to dance! When the DJ or the Band knows how to work the room and drop the killer songs at the right time there's nothing like it.
It’s the moment when all the formalities of the day are done and everyone can let their hair down. You really get to see some different personalities come out and I love to capture that fun.
Put on Uptown Funk or Livin’ on a Prayer and I’m there!!
There is one simple saying that has always resonated with me....
Treat others the way you’d have them treat you!
If we all treated people with the respect that we would like to receive, then really, what else would be necessary?

I love shooting Fashion, Portraiture and Travel Photography.
I pride myself on being able to bring in a little of that fashion flair to my wedding photography, giving it that unique edge.

Travelling to new places and exploring new cultures is my biggest passion. If you’re reading this then I suspect it’s yours too!
