I started Underatreehouse Photography in 2010. The same year, I met my wife.
After travelling and exploring the world, photographing many incredible places, it was time to put down some roots, and I was fortunate enough to do that in one of the most gorgeous cities in the world.
Later, we moved north to the Central Coast for that laid-back beach lifestyle, but I love to keep exploring and am always honoured and humbled by the places this job takes me!
After being a part of many Weddings and Elopements over the last 15 years, I have come to realise that it is the smaller, more intimate celebrations that I connect with the most. I love the intentionality of an Elopement or Micro-Wedding. Just you and the people who really mean the most to you, creating an experience that is truly authentic to who you are.
Being chosen to be a part of your celebration is something I genuinely treasure!

In 2024, I was the only Australian to take home a win in the International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards, thanks to this photograph from Bridget and Alex's Wedding at the James Theatre in Dungog in the Upper Hunter Valley.
They came to me with the idea of a group photo of their guests wearing 3D glasses, whilst they ate popcorn in the cinema. I added the theatrical lighting at the back to really make it pop. It was a fun photo to shoot but it's also something really unusual and unique, showing that you shouldn't feel confined to do anything the way you've seen before.
