Brook and Jami-Lee chose Box Grove in Bathurst for their wedding venue – a beautiful barn set on a family acreage and rolled fields in the Central West of NSW. This was my first time travelling to Bathurst; saying I loved it was an understatement.

With a Wed-stival, you can expect a big party (sometimes spanning across a couple of days) with great music (played loudly, of course) and a couple who want to celebrate big with their friends and family. And, that’s exactly what Alex and David did.

There’s something really special about backyard weddings. I feel like it’s the couple telling the world they know who they are and what is most important to them. The perfect combo of relaxed and intimate whilst also allowing them a big enough canvas to style it in line with their personalities.

On the morning of the elopement, I arrived in the dark to meet Ben and his parents. We made our way down to the beach with Haley and picked the spot for the ceremony before I raced back to meet Elle and some more friends and family.

When I received a phone call from Jess’ Mum a couple of days before their Clifftop Elopement was set to happen, I was certainly a little surprised but so excited to potentially be a part of it! Jess and Michael planned to tie the knot on a mountaintop overlooking Patonga.

Fernbank Farm is located in Wyong Creek, Yarramalong, on the NSW Central Coast, and it’s one of my favourite places to shoot. There are so many varied and beautiful opportunities for photos, from the lake to the Cyprus trees and the long grass field. Not forgetting the huge Arbour that is synonymous with the venue.
