Chrissie and Kieran’s Glenworth Valley Wedding was so much fun to be a part of from start to finish. These guys were so chilled out and just wanted to have a great time!
Whilst I’m on the subject of fun, if you are after a celebrant who brings the ENERGY, with people literally crying with laughter, you need to check out Marry Me Zoe! This was the first time I have worked with Zoe and she had me cracking up behind the lens with the way she told their story!
When I arrived at the ceremony spot Zoe asked me where I would like the couple to stand for great pictures. I told her I like symmetry and so suggested a spot to aim for them to be that was in line with the centre of the aisle. Zoe’s response: “I knew you were going to say that just by looking at your hair!” What a response! I knew it was going to be a fun one from there on in…
Glenworth Valley: Outdoor Adventure Wedding Venue
Glenworth Valley has everything you could want for an outdoors adventure with your friends and family: Horse Riding, Quad Biking, Kayaking, Abseiling and more, along with Eco-Cabins or Glamping Tents for your stay, or even just bring your own tent and pitch it by the river.
The Autumn colours were out in their full glory for Chrissie and Kieran’s May wedding, and after getting picked up by a classic white Ford Mustang they crossed the little creek and stopped under a tree full of orange and yellow leaves for some autumnal photos before heading on to the Ceremony at the Scenic Lookout.
Style and Design
Chrissie, as an Architect, chose to wear a sleek sculptural dress by Toni Maticevski and Kieran opted for a dapper green Peter Jackson Linen Jacket with a matching waistcoat and burnt orange tie.
Everyone had a blast while they said their “I do’s”, during which they played Paper, Scissors, Rock for who should go first and signed the papers on each other’s backs. We then jumped in the 4×4 Landcruiser to hit up some cool little spots for some more photos, like the Bridge and Fern Cove, before heading into the Events Centre for the reception, with its handcrafted Blackbutt tables, wrap-around verandah, and views through the valley.
Having scouted out some nice locations, I suggested we go outside for some romantic night photos before wrapping the night up.
