If you have been eagle-eyed you may have already spied these images around social media as we have been very slowing in getting them up here. We’ve actually been busy moving house, or at least half moving, we haven’t got there yet! But now, whilst I sit here on Easter Sunday afternoon with a chance to sit down and relax a bit I thought it was time I brought you these fabulous images myself.
The Secret Garden was the theme we were given for this photoshoot. A chance to show of the talents of all the collaborators involved, and we are super happy with the results.
I’ll hand a little of the explanation over to our producer and make-up artist extraordinaire, Vanessa Louise to add a little background…
“We started our shoot in the gorgeous rustic setting of Luscious Budz florist shop in the heart of Rose Bay, Sydney. It smelled heavenly and was a perfect setting to kick off the themed shoot. We then headed to Cooper Park in Woollarah, it was a very dark and gloomy day. We were incredibly lucky with the weather as the rain held off and then literally poured down as we were all bolting back to our cars with our gear at the end of the shoot. Cooper Park is such a tranquil picturesque setting, the possibilities were endless. Chris the photographer had a tough time with the lighting given the overcast weather and not much light filtering through the tall tree tops but he managed to capture the mood perfectly. The headpieces were crafted with the shoot in mind and coordinated well with the exquisite gowns from Vellos Bridal. The hair was styled around each headpiece and makeup was applied in a soft and natural pallet to begin then warmed up with rich warm hues with the Autumn Bride in mind.“
